Overview
Although it is in the heart of central Kigali and an easy drive from the international airport, it is easy to see why the Kigali Serena Hotel doesn’t feel like it in a thriving capital city. Palm trees, lush greenery and a sparkling azure swimming pool echo all the features of resort accommodation. This large hotel is ideal as an arrival and departure hub for gorilla- and chimp-trekking safaris across Rwanda.
The rooms are very comfortable with all the necessities – such as Wi-Fi and air conditioning – in place. For larger families or groups of friends travelling together, the Presidential Suite offers three bedrooms and a hot tub for soaking away any post-trek stiffness. A gym and spa are also available.
