Jenny from Biggestleaf Travel helped me book my safari experience in Pilanesberg National Park at Tambuti Lodge, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She took care of everything, including transportation from Johannesburg, and communicated all the details clearly and efficiently, always with such a friendly and positive attitude. I highly recommend Biggestleaf Travel for the smooth and reliable booking process and the kindness of their team. Thank you! Quina Fourie from Biggestleaf Travel helped us organize a absolutely amazing trip to Madikwe Impodimo plus stopover in Fourways and from and transportation to and from the airport. Not sure how to start so let’s begin with some perspective. We have traveled most of South Africa, including Kruger, been on safaris across Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Tanzania. Every place has its uniqueness and beauty. Our five nights over Christmas in Impodimo in Madikwe Game Reserve offers all you can wish for and the gamedrives were fantastic. We saw the big 5, and cheetahs, black rhinos and so much more. This is a top spot for game watching!! The luxury suites features private deck where we, between game drives, watched elefants, girafs, zebras, kudus and impalas passing through - and it was pretty much constantly. Our ranger and our tracker were superb. The food is lovely (with new ala carte to choose from every day) and the staff was very friendly and service minded. In the rooms you have complementary minibar and on the main deck, pool area and even in the hide all services are available. Did I also mention that Madikwe is malaria free. Don’t hesitate just go. Happy! We have an absolutely excellent 6–hour long safari in Pilanesberg and managed to spot so many animals including a lion, cheetahs and a leopard! Highly Recommend We joined the Pilanesberg Safari Day Tour. Had the pleasure of being driven to the national park by Williem. He was an amazing guy. We joined the game drive with Kgabo Safari & was looked after by George. He ensured we saw as many wildlife as possible. We felt very safe with him. Our consultant Tamsyn Ford was very professional. Great service and a wonderful professional team. I 100% recommend this travel group. They are professional and willing to work with you to make your trip the best it can be. Jenny was wonderful and so quick to respond to our many questions. Byron picked us up from the airport and made the 4 hour drive go quickly with his great personality. The Clifftop Exclusive Safari Hideaway was absolutely beautiful and we were treated so well by all the staff. The return tip was also very professional and done well. The drivers were awesome and when we came to an accident on the road that would have delayed us by 2 hours they found a quicker short cut and got us to the airport well ahead of time for our flight. From Pilanesberg to Johannesburg Soweto After a stay at wonderful Pilanesberg Mr. Biron picked us up and drove us to our hotel in Johannesburg . Before arriving at the hotel we had a sightseeing tour through Soweto and at Mandela's house. We got many impressions and historical facts about this district and all over Joburg. I used Biggestleaf Travel for a photo tour to Botswana again in 2026 (after having a great experience with them in 2025) and had an awesome trip. The team is attentive, professional, knowledgeable, and listens well.  They made the entire experience seamless and smooth. Our trip to Welgevonden was put together by Jenny from Biggest leaf travel , who did an awesome Job of advising us on various lodges as this was our first visit to this varied magnificent game reserve in july this year .. We were fortunate  enough to stay at two of the beautiful lodges within the reserve and hope to go back and try others ! Our visit took us to Laluka and Makweti , and they were just fabulous both lodges having equally special features , ambience staff and gorgeous accommodation... Its hard to say which was more special as we were thoroughly spoilt at both !! Laluka had a particularly welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere & staff , which lived up to its name that you feel like family in a heartbeat. More modern in deco, with a well designed open lounge and viewing deck & curio shop. Not for the faint hearted with its many steps to your rooms , but well worth bit of effort as they were modern comfortable and delightful with their individual swimming pool deck and views. Makweti was all that is Africa - comfortable cosy and welcoming and the staff are dedicated to making your stay exceptional in a quiet warm friendly and un-intrusive manner .. Everyone went out of their way to ensure that we had a memorable stay with great game drives & delicious food and I had a most enjoyable birthday which will long be a precious memory to recall. Our Zambia The trip was amazing!   All felt the accommodations and the adventures were incredible. The transfers were smooth, the team at JNB upon our return was key !  I do not think we would have made the connection to Swiss Air without the team shuffling us quickly through passport control. The accommodations were fantastic - well beyond what my kids expected!  The teams at the Kafunta and Royal Zambezi couldn't have been more accommodating.  We were treated very well, and all were thrilled!  I believe we spotted every animal with the exception of a male lion.  The drivers were unbelievable the way the searched and spotted the animals in their habitat.  They were knowledgeable about all the wildlife, including birds.  One of my sons-in-law loves bird watching and he was impressed and thrilled with the sightings and the guides' assistance. Thank you for all of your help with the planning and setting up a once-in-a-lifetime experience for our family.
