Overview
A sprawling property just outside Franschhoek so you’re close to the action while being cocooned by peace and quiet, Le Franschhoek Hotel and Spa has lovely mountain and garden views from its Cape Dutch-inspired architecture. Amid the lush orchards and mature oak trees are a twinkling swimming pool, tennis courts and even a labyrinth for a moment of quiet contemplation. There are several restaurants and a full spa with extensive treatment facilities such as a sauna and flotation tank.
Everything from lock-up-and-go rooms to spacious two-bedroom villas are available, some with full kitchens for guests who enjoy cooking with Franschhoek’s abundant produce. Over weekends, plump for a sumptuous high tea comprising delicious treats and iced glasses of local Methode Cap Classique bubbly!
