Overview
Life revolves around water and Lolkisale Camp is privileged to be near the Silale Swamps in Tarangire, a wetland that supports an abundance of game especially when dry season hits in the second half of the year. Photographers, birders and nature lovers can be out at first light enjoying everything this small but productive park has to offer.
Back at camp, you can expect well-proportioned tents with everything you need for a relaxing safari, from outdoor showers to convenient charging stations. The emphasis is on soaking up nature while luxuriating in classic Tanzanian hospitality, whether around the campfire or dining table. A special treat is being allowed to undertake night drives in search of nocturnal animals like aardvark, porcupines and owls.
