Overview
‘Mbano’ is the traditional praise name for the owner’s clan, who are connected to ancient Shona chiefs. Praise is certainly due at Mbano Manor Hotel, a calm oasis of international design in the midst of a mature teak forest where birds and wildlife make themselves at home. Situated on an estate large enough to need a golf cart to get around, Mbano offers a serene sanctuary after the fun, adventure and non-stop action of the Victoria Falls.
The large suites are very romantic and open up onto private courtyards, perfect for morning coffees or nightcaps under the stars. The Mutota Forest Villa takes both space and amenities up several notches, with its own plunge pool, private chef and round-the-clock butler.
