Overview
The Mount Nelson has welcomed guests since 1899 and while the iconic pink façade of this heritage building remains unchanged, the services have kept up with the times. Today you can enjoy the latest spa treatments, work out with high-tech gym equipment and be dazzled by new cuisines across several upscale restaurants. Other facilities include a hair salon, billiards room with satellite television and a heated swimming pool.
The main hotel is flanked by several smaller buildings in the same gardens that offer more secluded accommodation. These are Green Park, Oasis, Taunton House, the Helmsley and Hof Villa. ‘The Nelly’ is within walking distance to the historic Company’s Gardens, art galleries, museums, boutiques, an independent cinema and eateries of all kinds.
