Overview
Centuries of history come together at Navarre, a private residence just outside the acclaimed wine-making centre of Stellenbosch in the Cape Winelands. Boasting four bedrooms and multiple living rooms – as well as a chef and butler – Navarre is perfect for families or groups to use as a base for exploring the vineyards of ‘Stellies’, Paarl and Franschhoek.
The traditional Cape Dutch architecture lends itself to an appealing combination of cosy interiors and sprawling gardens. You can start your day with a run or cycle on the private track before sitting down to an alfresco breakfast. Because it is located on a productive wine farm, you also have the option of joining seasonal activities like harvesting grapes, picking olives and pruning roses.
