OVERVIEW
Warm and welcoming Southern Camp lies in Kapama, a large private game reserve in the Greater Kruger area. It is ideal for families who want to see the Big 5, boasting a junior rangers programme and family villas with heated pools. Grown-ups are also catered to with private photography workshops run by top wildlife photographers and a gorgeous sleepout in the middle of the bush. If that’s not enough to keep you busy between game drives and nature walks, Southern Camp also has a spa, steam room and gym.
All of the Big 5 are found across the reserve’s 15 000 hectares / 37 000 acres. Delicious kosher meals can be arranged at an extra cost with advance notice.
