OVERVIEW
Encountering a family of rare mountain gorillas is often said to be one of the best wildlife experiences on the planet. Not only do many of their expressions and gestures match our own, but their family dynamics – with raucous little ones, patient silverbacks and watchful moms – are relatable, too. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is their sanctuary and Bwindi Lodge is perfectly positioned for unbelievable views of the towering trees and dense canopy, which is home to 700 bird species.
