OVERVIEW
In the local language, Kilimanjaro means ‘mountain of whiteness or dreams’ while Amboseli means ‘salty dust’. At Tawi Lodge, you get the best balance of the two: gorgeous views of snowy Kilimanjaro and full access to Amboseli National Park for game drives. Those wanting nature walks, camel trekking, balloon rides or night drives are not left out at the lodge is in a private conservancy where all these exciting activities are on offer.
In another balance, the lodge is ‘elegantly rustic’: every comfort is taken care of while still maintaining that essential feeling of being in the Kenyan bush. In your downtime, head to the spa for a treatment or settle down and watch the endless antics at Tawi’s private waterhole.
