CONSERVATION & COMMUNITY
Kinondo Kwetu Health Centre
Now a Level 4 hospital that provides care for repeated childhood ear infections that cause deafness, jigger parasites and malaria cases. Village children are immunized and mothers receive care to reduce still-births and infant mortality
OVERVIEW
White sand, an azure ocean, nodding palm trees and low-key beach cottages with whitewashed walls and brightly coloured Swahili fabric come together effortlessly at Kinondo Kwetu. On the beach at Galu, a quiet enclave south of Diani Beach, this resort is one of a kind. Accommodation is dotted on the grounds between swimming pools, a tennis court and lawns for stretching out in the sun with a good book. There is plenty of space to have privacy if that’s what you crave.
A huge number of water activities are available, including paddle boarding, sailing and snorkelling. The gym is a fresh-air affair, built on the beach under the shade of the coastal tree belt, a gentle breeze to keep you cool.
