OVERVIEW
With an expansive main area built over many levels – including up the lush treeline – and views over the Boro River to famous Chief’s Island, Moremi Crossing is one of the Okavango Delta’s larger water-based lodges. The focus is very much on the wildlife with game drives, nature walks and boating excursions into the concession to find leopard, elephant, wild dog and leopard. The abundance of mature trees makes for incredible birding experiences – have your binos ready!
Moremi Crossing offers seasonal ‘wilderness camping’ where you set out in a mekoro (traditional dugout canoe) with your guide to spend the night on one of the Delta’s many papyrus-fringed islands. This is a magical adventure that lets you appreciate the never-ending stars and soothing night sounds…
