OVERVIEW
Jock Safari Lodge is named after ‘Jock of the Bushveld’, a popular classic novel that follows the true adventures of a heroic Staffordshire terrier in the African wilderness by Sir Percy Fitzpatrick. It lies in a 6 000 hectare / 14 800 acre private concession of the Kruger National Park, an environment Jock would have recognised. A good road network allows you to explore, going off-road for special sightings. Its location at the confluence of the Mitomeni and Biyamiti Rivers almost guarantees plentiful game.
Accommodation comprises Jock Main Lodge and Fitzpatrick’s at Jock, a three-bedroom safari villa for families or small groups. Golfers will be delighted by complimentary transfers to beautiful Leopard Creek Golf Club, routinely the top-rated course in South Africa.
