OVERVIEW
Hwange is Zimbabwe’s biggest national park, covering an enormous stretch of land in the north-west of the country. The Linkwasha-Makalolo Private Wilderness Area is an exclusive piece of land bordering the teeming Ngamo Plains and home to Linkwasha Camp. The flat terrain makes this prime cheetah territory and you are permitted to do activities not allowed in the park itself, such as sleepouts, night drives and nature walks.
Linkwasha is ideal for families, boasting a family unit and fun additions like a pizza oven and barbeque. Keen birders, photographers and nature lovers will enjoy time at the secluded hide that overlooks the waterhole at camp – don’t forget your camera and binoculars to savour superb sightings especially over the dry winter months.
