OVERVIEW
For many seasoned travellers to Zimbabwe, Mana Pools is one of the prettiest of all the national parks thanks to four large pans and the Zambezi River providing ample water for groves of trees and wildlife to thrive. It is also seeing a strong resurgence of sought-after species like wild dog, making it a thrilling option for those who enjoy off-the-beaten-track safaris.
Built amid beautiful albida trees, Ruckomechi is on private conservation land near the park. The seasonal camp offers everything from canoeing to game drives, with a very special activity being sleeping on the romantic raised platform starbed with just the night sounds for company. Ruckomechi is closed over the wettest months of December to March.
