Rumour has it that King’s Pool was named after a famous European king who honeymooned in the area in the 1970s. Whatever the truth, the lodge today offers elegant accommodation in the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve, which borders the world-famous Chobe National Park and is a haven not only for elephant but also large herds of rare roan and sable antelope.

Photographers and nature lovers enjoy the underground hide, which is positioned next to a popular waterhole.
