OVERVIEW
With its prime location on the floodplains of the Kwando River, in the heart of the 232 000 hectare private reserve, Lebala Camp really lives up to its name of ‘wide open spaces’. This is a place where huge herds of elephant roam freely, tsessebe can be spotted scanning the horizon for lion and cheetah, and guests have been lucky enough to find pangolin. Having an expert guide-and-tracker team on every vehicle sets the standards for sightings very high.
Add nine tents and one double family tent (all with gauze walls for 180° views) and you have a great value safari camp where the focus is on the animals. Lebala provides a true ‘digital detox’ with night drives and off-roading possible.
