OVERVIEW
There is irony in this lodge being called Xigera; a xigera is a pied kingfisher but there’s nothing black and white about this flamboyant and colourful accommodation in Moremi Game Reserve. Bursting with art and creativity, it is full of bespoke furniture, sculptures, art and textiles designed and made by top African artisans. Every suite is different and the expansive main areas have extravagant hues and a plethora of different textures.
Outside, the multi-storey Baobab Treehouse is a beacon, taking your sleepout to another level. Regardless of the meal – picnic, pizza or canapes – the food is lovingly plated and paired with a vintage from the cellar. The suites even have televisions and room service if you feel like a quiet night in!
