OVERVIEW
Not only does Ngorongoro Crater Camp have an enviable position on the rim of the ancient and unbroken volcanic caldera but it is near the access road, meaning you can be among the first guests in and last to leave. This is a boon for safari lovers, giving you more time to savour the wildlife paradise of the incredible Ngorongoro Crater.
Back at camp, there are plenty of creature comforts without overshadowing the beauty of the surrounding bush. The large deck is shaded by giant acacias, and intimate candlelit dinners can be set up on the grounds when evenings are balmy and the Southern Cross constellation is rising over the horizon. Cultural tours to a Maasai village are another highlight.
