OVERVIEW
What could be more invigorating than going from Kafunta’s cool infinity swimming pool to the naturally heated hot tub – or vice versa! Taking advantage of a geothermal spring, this understated river lodge has one of the only tubs in South Luangwa National Park. In addition, you can revive body and soul at the Fig Tree Spa or head to the gym ‘hut’ for a workout in the bush. Photographers and birders will love time at the hide while the whole lodge has views over the floodplains and is sheltered by wild mango trees.
Safari activities like game drives and walks take in the park’s productive northern sector and full-day drives in a covered vehicle can be arranged on special request.
