OVERVIEW
Ellerman House has become a byword for seamless service and discretion expected by discerning travellers. The driver will be waiting at Cape Town International Airport and glide you through the gates of this very tucked-away hotel. The surprise is in the view: a 270-degree panorama encompasses the Atlantic Ocean, twinkling lights of some of the city’s most exclusive enclaves and candy-floss pink sunsets.
As befits a historic mansion, all rooms are different. But whether you’re in a villa or the house, there are plenty of treats to be had. Stroll the art gallery, enjoy canapes and cocktails at dusk, discover new wines in the cellar or raid the 24-hour snack pantry (then work it off in the gym or spa!).
