OVERVIEW
Named after a venerable old gorilla, Kwitonda is a lodge that takes pampering and service as seriously as it takes conservation. While your pool is heated to the perfect temperature and your favourite wines are selected from the cellar, you can also be briefed by the resident conservationist before your trek and borrow technical items from the on-site gear room.
Under-15s who can’t join the trekking aren’t left out with a full range of activities and experiences that allow them to discover this slice of paradise. The location is spectacular with a long area banking right onto Volcanoes National Park, the world’s greatest mountain gorilla stronghold. In addition to a family unit, there is a large villa with its own cinema!
