OVERVIEW

Damaraland is one of the most interesting places in Namibia, a land of enormous granite boulders, the World Heritage Site of Twyfelfontein, ancient rock paintings and populations of desert-adapted elephant, lion, brown hyena and more. Your sanctuary at Onduli Ridge is named after resident giraffe and is in the Doro! Nawas Conservancy, which itself means ‘place where rhino roam’. From the lodge, you can see the looming Brandberg, made easier with Swarovski Optik binoculars to borrow.

After a day of game drives, having fun on e-bikes and nature walks, tuck into a pizza straight from the blazing oven or settle down to see what wildlife comes to drink at the waterhole. The pool also has wonderful views of this storied area…
