OVERVIEW
Rock Lodge is just that: a handful of private suites built into the side of a beautiful valley, all overlooking Leopard Rock and the classic Zululand thicket below. Your deck and pool provide 180-degree views, while the rooftop terrace allows you to dine alfresco with 360-degree vistas. Phinda Private Game Reserve supports seven types of landscape, which in turn support a plethora of species including lion, leopard and hyena.
A highlight is the chance to be involved in tagging and monitoring elephant, rhino or pangolin during scheduled conservation projects – it’s life-changing to be so close to such endangered animals! The lodge provides an unusual balance of high-end accommodation and down-to-earth conservation activities so you can do good on your safari holiday.
