OVERVIEW
There are so many interesting activities here like night walks in Kibale Forest to find bushbabies and pottos or time at the stunning Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary at Magombe Swamp. Primate Lodge Kibale is a great base to explore Kibale National Park and an unforgettable highlight is taking part in the chimpanzee habituation programme (in addition to trekking this one out of 13 resident species of primate). There are also six endemic bird species including dusky crimsonwings.
If that isn’t enough, go explore the Bunyaruguru crater lakes (including Lake Nkuruba), the Mahoma Falls and the Sebitole rainforest. The lodge provides a light, airy and colourful contrast to the deep-green forest, a tranquil haven after an unforgettable day of wildlife viewing.
