OVERVIEW
Rivertrees Country Inn may host celebrities and royalty but retains its friendly, down-to-earth yet gracious atmosphere. Set just outside Arusha near the Usa River, its fertile grounds have been farmed for coffee for several generations, who have enjoyed the panoramic vistas of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest freestanding mountain in the world.
At Rivertrees, accommodation is individually configured, with options for everyone from honeymooners wanting cosy intimacy in a secluded cottage to large families needing plenty of space in the original rambling farm house. The sprawling gardens are home to a massage banda (hut) with a special tub, a refreshing swimming pool and a popular restaurant with a lively bar where you can meet the locals and a wood-fired pizza oven.
