OVERVIEW
Nights under the stars in the boma, days out in the bush looking for the Big 5… this is the enviable routine at Selati Camp in the Sabi Sabi Game Reserve. As part of the greater Kruger National Park, it is a biodiversity hotspot and the perfect place to perhaps tick off that elusive leopard or long-awaited white rhino sighting.
The camp recognises the area’s storied past when a railway line was built in the 1870s to connect to the Mozambican coast. Today train memorabilia is a tasteful theme that runs through all the very comfortable and large suites that have everything you need. When out, look for pangolin, wild dog, black rhino and the ‘Big 6’ of rare birds.
