OVERVIEW
Calling Babylonstoren a ‘working farm’ is a bit of a misnomer. While fruits and vegetables are cultivated in the sprawling gardens, colourful chickens roam the grounds and donkeys nibble on their haystacks, the property is also home to an acclaimed farm-to-fork restaurant, a spa with a hammam and chill room, and several accommodation options for couples to families.
Located in the Cape Winelands, it also boasts its own wines – no Cape Town holiday is complete without a wine tasting or two! The long list of activities includes learning to bake artisanal bread with expert bakers, rowing out onto the dam, taking a foodie or gardening workshop, or hiking and biking around the very large estate. Or you could just… exhale and relax.
