CONSERVATION & COMMUNITY
Regenerative Farming
Boschendal is Animal Welfare Approved and Grassfed Certified. Land is preserved via alien plant clearing programmes and water is conserved for use in the gardens. Recycling, composting and solar power generation are in place as is compliance with GlobalG.A.P’s Integrated Farm Assurance standards.
OVERVIEW
Mature trees welcome you to Boschendal, an estate in the Cape Winelands that dates to 1685. While still a working farm that produces award-winning vintages as well as a range of fresh produce, it also has a series of cottages and villas that are perfect for everyone from honeymoon couples to families of up to 10. The largest includes a private swimming pool and an authentic pizza oven – all with glorious vistas over the Simonsberg.
In addition to wine tasting and estate tours, you can view original South African art in the restored manor house or head out on a mountain bike, by horse or with your own trusty hiking boots. Boschendal is a calming blend of contemporary country style with friendly service throughout.
