OVERVIEW
Moremi Game Reserve is one of the most popular parts of the Okavango because of its easy accessibility from Maun and ideal habitat for large mammals. It has sufficient dry ground to support prides of lion, packs of wild dog, waterbuck, kudu and more. Leopards are regularly seen relaxing in the leadwood trees while elephants enjoy their favourite snack of mopane leaves. At the heart of it all is Camp Moremi, a classic thatch lodge that overlooks the glorious Xakanaxa Lagoon.
On game drives or motorboating excursions, your guide at ‘Camp M’ will search for the warthogs, zebra and lechwe that call Moremi home. Afterwards, enjoy a tipple at the bar, which is cunningly built around a massive (inactive!) termite mound and ebony tree.
