OVERVIEW
Built where the Chongwe and Zambezi Rivers meet, Chongwe is an easy-going camp in South Luangwa National Park. The rivers flow lazily past and the scenery is completed by views of the escarpment that cradles this area. Mature trees and manicured lawns keep Chongwe cool and provide plenty of places to stretch out and relax. The pool and hide are popular to top up your vitamin D or get incredible shots of wildlife quenching their thirst.
The friendly team at Chongwe provide a host of exciting land- and water-based activities. In addition to game drives and nature walks, you can go boating on the river, kayaking in its channels, try your hand at fishing or sleep out under the stars.
