OVERVIEW
Imagine 550 000 hectares filled with desert-adapted rhinos, lions, elephants, hyenas, giraffes and elephants, not to mention bat-eared foxes, cheetahs and unusual bird species like Herero chats and Ruppell’s korhaan. This is the unbelievable Palmwag Concession in northern Namibia and the home of Desert Rhino Camp.
This is a classic safari lodge with simple, comfortable tents where the focus is on the magnificent landscapes and the incredible wildlife that inhabit them. A highlight is setting out with an expert guide on foot or by vehicle to track black rhino, a poignant experience when you consider their battle for survival. At night, be sure to look up and be dazzled by the millions of stars as you’ve never seen them before…
