OVERVIEW
‘Tau’ means ‘lion’ and echoes a lion’s roar. At DumaTau Camp, you’re bound to hear these big cats contact calling in the night as you’re in the thriving Linyanti Wildlife Reserve. The Linyanti River supports grassland, floodplains, riverine forest and waterways – as well as the myriad of species they in turn harbour. DumaTau is built on the beautiful Osprey Lagoon, famous for elephants wading through the water.
Slick and upscale with extremely large tents, the camp makes the most of its river frontage with every suite having a view and the Osprey Spa offering a lap pool on the water’s edge. Local textiles, acacia wood and mosaics gel perfectly to create an elegant camp that offers a raft of exciting activities.
