OVERVIEW
There is so much to do and see at Gibbs Farm that it could be a Tanzanian holiday all on its own. Conveniently situated midway between Arusha and Tarangire National Park (and within striking distance of Lake Manyara National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area), this working farm at Karatu is an ideal resting point on the Northern Circuit.
In the morning, you can help to bake bread, visit the bustani (vegetable garden) and meet the pigs, cows and chickens. The aroma of freshly roasted coffee entices you to the plantation and you can shop for trinkets in the Zawadi Boutique. If you need even more, hit the pool or stretch on your yoga mat in the privacy of your farm cottage.
