African Fund for Endangered Wildlife
Situated adjacent to Giraffe Manor, AFEW runs an educational facility where members of the public can interact with the giraffes and learn about conservation

Giraffe Conservation Fund
Creating awareness and helping conserve giraffe species, which are all under significant threat. The Stand Tall campaign helps fund their preservation via sponsorship

Green operations
Plastic waste has been reduced by 85 percent since the introduction of reusable water bottles for guests. ‘Save a bucket’, by catching the cold water from showers, stops thousands of litres of water from being wasted by using it for cleaning and gardening instead. Solar power is used for boilers and electricity as much as possible. Where unavoidable emissions are produced, they are offset by projects that help conserve Kenya’s mangroves and seagrass forests. Produce is grown on site or procured as locally as possible. Partnerships with The Long Run and Ecotourism Kenya ensure continuous progress on increased sustainability
