OVERVIEW
Imagine waking up, walking onto your secluded private deck and seeing a family of mountain gorillas gambolling in the nearby clearing. It’s been known to happen at Gorilla Forest Camp because of its remote location in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Thanks to a limited footprint and eco-friendly design, nature has been left as undisturbed as possible, including 24 endemic bird species and gentle Ugandan kob strolling through.
The tents are very comfortable with little extras like hairdryers and spacious bathtubs that are appreciated after a thrilling but challenging gorilla trek. If you need extra pampering or soothing of tired muscles, the spa ensures relief and relaxation. The kitchen prides itself on showcasing Ugandan favourites like kalo, a special millet bread.
