OVERVIEW
A landscape of soft dunes, rocky outcrops and deep colours of ochre against a brilliant blue sky makes for one of the most dramatic in Namibia. Lying in the Kaokoland and part of the greater Palmwag Concession and the Sesfontein Community Conservancy, Hoanib Valley Camp pays homage to the people and wildlife that thrive here.
Just quietly stylish six tents make up the intimate camp that is one of the most remote in the country. On your doorstep are desert-adapted black rhino, giraffe, elephant, lion and zebra as well as kudu, oryx, klipspringer and unusual Monteiro’s hornbills. Perfect for those who enjoy rugged adventure, it also gives you a respectful glimpse into the lives of the extraordinarily innovative Himba people.
