CONSERVATION & COMMUNITY
Green Initiatives
Idube Game Lodge has had a greywater recycling system in place since the late 1980s for watering the lawns and gardens. There is an osmosis plant for filtered water and all waste is recycled by specialists. Electricity is saved via LED bulbs, gas geysers and solar exchanges
OVERVIEW
The Greater Kruger area in South Africa is the best place in the world to see the Big 5 in the world. Careful conservation means good populations of leopard, lion, buffalo, elephant and rhino thrive in gorgeous settings. Idube Game Reserve can traverse 10 000 hectares of the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, which adjoins the renowned Kruger National Park.
Idube Game Lodge is a small, cosy property in the heart of Big 5 action. Down-to-earth, unfussy and homely while still being stylish, it offers family fun in a series of suites and chalets. In addition to game drives, your guide can take you walking to uncover smaller creatures, towering trees and all the fascinating details you miss on a vehicle!
