OVERVIEW
Jack’s Camp has become an icon for its unusual décor, glorious tents, one-of-a-kind activities and position in a landscape of supreme seasonal contrasts. Housed in large tents reminiscent of North African royalty, interiors are strewn with animal artifacts, antiques, Persian carpets and even a snooker table. Beds and bathrooms hark back to the earliest days of safari – think four-posters and wooden panelling.
In addition to game drives to find semi-desert specialists, you can let habituated meerkats use you as a lookout post, learn about life in Makgadikgadi from the Bushmen and head out on quad bikes (ATVs). In dry season, a night on the pans is like no other: sheer silence and the Milky Way as your ancestors once saw it…
