OVERVIEW
‘Kahawa’ means ‘coffee’ in Swahili, a fitting name for tranquil Kahawa House, which is surrounded by the famous and fragrant coffee plantations of Arusha that thrive in the fertile soil in the foothills of Mount Meru. Arusha is the gateway to Tanzania’s renowned northern safari circuit and Kahawa House provides a welcome overnight stop on your journey.
Light and airy, its rooms are spread over two storeys around lush gardens and a sparkling swimming pool. Freshly ground coffee is the order of the day at mealtimes as is fresh produce from the thriving vegetable patch. Being just a short drive from Arusha Airport and having a dayroom makes Kahawa House very practical for tight or late flight connections.
