OVERVIEW
In some ways, the Olare Motorogi Conservancy is as close to how the Masai Mara used to be as you’ll get. That’s because it has the area’s lowest vehicle density and only one bed for every 140 hectares of land. Add to that the highest known concentration of big cats in the Mara and you can see why Kicheche Bush Camp is a quiet gem for wildlife photographers and safari aficionados.
With so much happening out in the field – from cheetah running down wildebeest to juvenile lions learning not to mess with a bull elephant – it’s no wonder the camp is a serene and unfussy sanctuary. For even more ‘bush time’, spend a night fly-camping for a truly wild Mara experience.
