OVERVIEW
Rumour has it that King’s Pool was named after a famous European king who honeymooned in the area in the 1970s. Whatever the truth, the lodge today offers elegant accommodation in the Linyanti Wildlife Reserve, which borders the world-famous Chobe National Park and is a haven not only for elephant but also large herds of rare roan and sable antelope.
Photographers and nature lovers enjoy the underground hide, which is positioned next to a popular waterhole. During the day, scenic helicopter flips and in-room massages can thrill and relax you, while in the evenings you can opt for sundowners on the barge or the excitement of a night game drive. King’s Pool has a private suite for small groups travelling together.
