OVERVIEW
There is nothing as thrilling for safari lovers than hearing, ‘Wild dogs. Over there…’. At Lagoon Camp, the chances of your guide uttering these magic words are some of the highest in all of Botswana as the enormous private concession is a safe haven for these canids. They’re also known to den very near to the camp, increasing the possibility of seeing puppies. In addition, elephants and hippos are almost always visible from the decks that overlook the Kwando River. And where herbivores go, big cats follow.
The camp has just nine tents shielded by marula and ebony trees. Pass the afternoon on the swing on the main deck, keeping your binoculars to hand in case any action breaks out on the water’s edge!
