OVERVIEW
Laikipia comprises a series of ranches and reserves around Mount Kenya. Because this is private land, there is a huge range of activities at Laikipia Wilderness Camp including fly-camping, multi-day walking safaris, hiking and mountain biking. The wildlife is as diverse, with unusual species like aardwolf and zorilla (striped polecat) and everything in between, including melanistic leopards (or black panthers).
The focus is on outdoor fun for the family and there is even a unit large enough for two adults and four children. Laikipia Wilderness Camp encourages exploration of this incredible part of Kenya, with bush meals and picnics regularly occurring on the roster. This is a place to kick off your shoes, breathe in the fresh air and soak up the sun…
