OVERVIEW
MalaMala Private Game Reserve holds an almost legendary position in South Africa. As one of the oldest reserves, it has an enviable position adjacent to the Kruger National Park: no fences block animals moving between the two for 19 kilometres / 12 miles. If that’s not enough, it also has 20km / 13mi of direct access to the Sand River. Even more impressive, it is the biggest private area, clocking in at 13 200 hectares / 13 600 acres.
Main Camp is built in a ‘classic African’ style with a special mobility-impaired suite built to international specifications and a modified game-drive vehicle that can take wheelchairs. Children will also love the comprehensive Junior Rangers programme jam packed with age-appropriate activities.
