OVERVIEW
The northern sector of Serengeti National Park is always a wildlife masterpiece. Mega-herds of wildebeest roll through in the second half of the year, resident big cats roam the plains year-round and the start of the year heralds the arrival of migration birds plus many calves and foals.
Mara Mara Tented Camp (named after the Mara River) is in the productive Kogatende area of the Serengeti. It is divided into north and south sections, giving a more intimate feeling and ensuring no tent is too far from the main communal areas. If you are really lucky, you may even be able to spot passing wildebeest right from your private deck as they trek to the Masai Mara in neighbouring Kenya.
