OVERVIEW
Perfectly situated as a comfortable, contemporary base for visiting both Lake Manyara National Park and the jaw-dropping Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Marera Valley Lodge lies outside the town of Karatu and Rhotia Village. It has splendid views of the valley from its deck and is a very comfortable stopover on a Northern Circuit safari.
The large azure swimming pool is enticing on hot afternoons while the crackling fireplaces in every suite are welcome on cold evenings. The chefs make the most of fresh produce straight from the kitchen garden and the thriving farms around Karatu. When you’re not out exploring, you can enjoy hiking, birding, massages or simply just breathing in the fresh air and appreciating Tanzanian hospitality.
