OVERVIEW
It’s lanterns and candlelight at Notten’s, traditions that have remained unchanged since this iconic bush camp in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve was founded in 1986. The reserve – named after the essential Sabie and Sand Rivers – is unfenced, allowing thousands of animals to wander freely to the Kruger National Park, making this an off-the-charts Big 5 wonderland.
Back at camp, the Bambi Pan waterhole provides nonstop entertainment, especially for photographers, birders and armchair safari enthusiasts. Suites are airy, simple and spacious with golden candlelight making them especially cosy and romantic after dinner in the boma. In addition to game drives and nature walks, Notten’s can arrange visits to Shangaan cultural sites and a verdant local golf course.
