OVERVIEW
Step back in time at Oddballs’, a rustic camp where safaris eschew game-drive vehicles and power boats for the gentler ways of poling in a traditional wooden mekoro and walking through the Okavango Delta’s dazzling maze of channels, islands and pockets of grassland. Oddballs’ keeps alive time-honoured traditions like bucket showers and being off the grid, guaranteeing a true sense of being in the heart of Mother Nature.
The simple but comfortable dome tents are laid out on raised decks on Chief’s Island, one of the most gorgeous spots in an area that is not short of natural beauty. All the guides were born and raised here, and are the perfect leaders for overnight fly-camping expeditions on neighbouring islands.
