OVERVIEW
If you love big cats, then you will love your time at Okonjima Luxury Bush Camp in the Okonjima Nature Reserve as it is home to the AfriCat Foundation. Not only is this the place in Namibia where you’re most likely to see leopard in the wild, it is also a research hub for cheetah and brown hyena, shy and hard-to-find species. Conservation is an important part of the Okonjima experience and highly endangered pangolin and aardvark are also closely monitored.
The camp has very well-spaced chalets and suites, all with lovely views of the surrounding bush and special feeders to attract indigenous birds to your accommodation. The waterhole holds the promise of plenty of animal action, especially for photographers.
